Try calling 1-800-comcast and ask a rep to completely remove the modem from your account and to "re-provision" it from scratch. Also ask them to confirm that the provisioning and account data in their database is correct and complete.

so its important to clarify if its modem or router. The router has no effect on connectivity with our network. Its merely a pass-through for wifi and additional hardwired connections. Modem on the other hand is the main component that connects to the network. In most cases if you purchased your own modem, you would want to follow the instructions on the presented splash page for self-activation. In majority of instances what will happen is that the modem will need to update its firmware to match/sync to our network. To also note, we dont send you a notification to click on to say "update your modem firmware" it gets pushed out automatically and in most cases during the time of least amount of network usage (commonly between 2-5am) so you wont notice the impact of your network going down for the update. Checking your account - looks like the modem is already set up appropriately and is functional/online. Im going to mark this thread as resolved/answered. If you are still having issues however, try fully resetting your router to factory using the provided instructions from the manufacturer and see if that changes anything. You may also need to log into your owned modem directly and enable it as "bridged" mode if it comes with its own built-in WiFi.
