View more than one inbox

How do I view a second email inbox? I see folders by other email account names but the folders don't contain the emails.

How are you accessing the email?  Are you using only the webmail UI and a browser?  Or a desktop client?  Where are you seeing other accounts?

I normally access mail with the email program that comes with Windows 10. When a site sent me an email I didn't receive I decided to use Chrome and log into my Xfinity account to check email there. I assumed all my email inboxes would be available and selectable on one screen.  Instead only my main email inbox was viewable but I saw a list of my other email addresses as folders on the left. Now I'm wondering if I have to login and out to view each email inbox. That would mean web access would not be worth the effort.

Right.  So you have your Comcast account enabled in Windows 10 Mail-------is that correct?  When you use only a browser and the Comcast webmail interface you can see other email accounts in the left folders pane-----is that also correct?  Because if it is, that means you have added them to the section that says "Add mail account" in that pane.  If you click on one of those accounts, then on the Inbox, do you not see the contents of that folder?

  • Correct - Comcast account enabled in Windows 10 Mail
  • Correct -   When I  use only a browser and the Comcast webmail interface I  can see other email accounts in the left folders pane
  • If you click on one of those accounts, then on the Inbox, do you not see the contents of that folder?  No. When I click on the folder it says empty. Then when I click on inbox I see emails for my main account and not the folder named account.

In the left pane, click on the account you want to select it, then click on the little arrow/chvron to the left of it to see the folders for that account. (it might take a second or two for them to show up) Then click on that Inbox.  Can you see the emails then?

There was no arrow to left and 3 bars would show up to right when selected.

I found the solution was to add email account on bottom left side. Then I was able to view emails.
