Why can't I look at my email account Imap information?

user_7jjv4k Hi, I’m sorry you’re having trouble finding your IMAP information — I know that can be frustrating. Here are a few quick things to check.

First, make sure you’re signed in with the Primary Xfinity ID. IMAP settings won’t appear for secondary users. Try signing out, then back in at https://connect.xfinity.com using the primary login.

Also, Xfinity doesn’t always display IMAP details in the email settings anymore, even though IMAP is still supported. If you’re setting up email in an app (like Outlook or Apple Mail), you can use these standard settings:

IMAP: imap.comcast.net | Port 993 | SSL/TLS
SMTP: smtp.comcast.net | Port 587 | TLS
Username: full Xfinity email address
Password: Xfinity ID password

If you’re using a third‑party email app, confirm access is allowed:

  1. Sign in at https://customer.xfinity.com
  2. Go to Account & Identity > Security
  3. Review any third‑party access or verification prompts
