Unable to email externally since Laptop Upgrade

Ever since I upgraded to a new laptop (Win 10 from Win 7), I am unable to send emails externally.  I can send them to another address, but everything else disaappears and the recipient does not receive the email.  Is the email being blocked by some filter on the comcast servers???
