Unable to disable Comcast spam filters
Comcast spam filtering continues to irrationally send important emails to spam. In particular, I am on a distribution list (about 10 addresses) which very frequently gets sent to spam. This despite the fact that the sender's is in my Xfinity address book.
I have attempted to disable filtering: in the email advanced settings, I have selected "Override Security Filters - Allow spam and potentially harmful messages in your Inbox."
I also set up an email rule which specifically says that if the sender's name appears, the message should go to my inbox.
And yet, these messages go to spam. And I end up missing important information, because I never receive it.
Other than completely moving to gmail, any other ideas to fix this???

Hello sbjdmarlatt, thank you for taking those steps and trying to adjust your settings. I can see how that would get pretty annoying considering the steps you've tried. Those would be the initial steps to take, so I'd to try a few things here on my end. In order to get started can you please send a direct message to Xfinity Support with your full name and full address by clicking the chat icon in the top right? Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message
