What are you using to check your email?

If you're using webmail you don't have to worry about settings.

I could once enter my username then password and there were my emails.....Now I go in circles and never see any emails

So, are you using webmail, then?  [Through your browser and not through a third party email app.]  

You may need to change your password.  https://xfinity.com/password

I don't know what webmail is. I haven't signed up for that. It once was  just typed in *******@comcast.net and there was my email log in.  Now just confusion.
