typing slow and delayed

Why when I am typing in comcast email, is it so slow and delayed? I do not have this issue with any other app or web page in my microsoft edge browser.

As a test, try with a different browser.  Does the problem persist?

I have the same problem (delayed typing response when responding to emails, for instance.  I'm using Chrome as my browser, which is what I always use.  Not sure what changing browsers would accomplish, as I'm sticking with Chrome.   In other words, I wouldn't change to a different browser just for the purpose of responding to emails, you know?

What's the underlying problem?

The reason I tell people to try a different browser is to see if the same problem happens there.  It's a way to eliminate the browser as the cause.  If it's not that, then you at least know to look elsewhere.  I am experiencing the same issue you have using Firefox, but if I switch to Edge, everything works normally and there is no hesitation in the typing.  So that tells me the problem is likely something to do with Firefox.  In Chrome, try clearing history and cache, then close it out and re-start it in a fresh session.  Also try with another  browser.

ETA:  I just closed Firefox and re-started it.  The typing delay is gone.  Looking  normal now.

This was not particularly helpful.  The lagging typing started yesterday.  There was NO reply from Infinity.  I received two emails in a different font, and my answer in that font was up to speed.

Otherwise, I just type the email and come back in half an hour and edit it, then send.  Ridiculous.
