Transfer secondary email address to another Comcast account
Years ago I set up secondary email addresses for my two children. Now they are adults with their own homes, Comcast accounts and internet service. They want to use the email addresses that they have used for years but it is becoming more problematic when I am the one getting email alerts (primary email) that a change has been made to a secondary email address. In addition, they would like the option of promoting their long-standing email address as their primary email address since they had to come up with a random unique email when they opened their accounts and now never use other than for Comcast account management.
Is there any way to transfer (e.g. give) a secondary email address that I own to another Comcast primary account holder? Comcast support says it can't be done because there can only be one primary email account. I don't believe I was able to get them to understand my request.

Working with ComcastJoeTru I was able to move the secondary user accounts from my primary account to another primary account. The process requires tasks to be completed by both primary account holders and a Comcast administrator. These tasks occur in somewhat of a round robin format and it became clear why this can't be accomplished by a 30 minute phone call. Thank-you to @Latoque for connecting me to the right person and to @ComcastJoeTru for guiding me through the process.

My take is that you can't do this yourself, but it may still be doable with help. So I am escalating this to the forum admins for follow-up. You should see a response in this thread.

I have been on with an Xfinity rep for about 2 hours now. I cannot for the life of me make him understand the issue that aim7878 had and was solved by ComcastJoeTru. Is there anyway I could also get some help doing this? My daughter is moving to a new apartment and wants to take her email and use it on her new Xfinity account.

@ComcastJoeTru I am having the same problem with one of my children who has moved and wants to take her email and use it on her new Xfinity account. Comcast support has not been helpful.
