thunderbird set up error - You don't have permission to access "http://login.xfinity.com/login" on this server.

Hello,

I am setting up email client "Thunderbird" and receiving "You don't have permission to access "http://login.xfinity.com/login" on this server." error

-directly connected to cable modem

-win11

-same result if chrome or edge are default browsers ; cache cleared on both before attempts

-third party email apps enabled/check marked under Xfinity Email Settings>Security>Third Party Access Security

please advise

issue resolved

Rebuilt account in Thunderbird selecting "configure manually"  instead of letting thunderbird auto discover/populate configuration.

Only difference i could see is on "Authentication Method",  when set to "autodetect"  it would default to "normal password" instead of "OAuth2".

With "Normal Password" it seems to work fine on all 4 accounts used/built, but "OAuth2" errors out on browser with same error mentioned above.
