Thunderbird error message LessSecureAuthDisabled

I have several Comcast email addresses & they all used to work with Thunderbird.

I changed my Comcast email password on one secondary email & now Thunderbird cannot access the email.

I changed the password in Thunderbird & get an error message when trying to receive email:
“Sending of password for user xxxxx at comcast.net did not succeed. Mail server pop3.comcast.net responded: LessSecureAuthDisabled”.

Also changed PW for sending email and get this:
“Login to server ssmtp.comcast.net with username xxxxx at comcast.net failed”.

Thunderbird settings are the same on all accounts.

How do I fix this problem?

Thanks

You beat me to posting the solution. I did that last night & so far it still works.

Thanks.
