"This email address is already associated with an Xfinity account"
I have more than one Xfinity Account. I log into them with a single xfinity username and in the upper right hand corner of the web page, just below my login, it lets me choose which account I want to see information for. Great.
However, when I go to "Edit yoru personal email address" and put in my preferred email for the multiple accounts I own, I get an error: "This email address is already associated with an Xfinity account".
So Xfinity appears to allow one master login to multiple xfinity accounts, but we can't associate those accounts with a single preferred email address? Can somebody help?

I'm not sure what you mean by saying you can log into more than one Comcast account with the same ID. That should not be possible. You can have the primary account, and up to six secondary accounts. Each has to have it's own ID and password. And no, you cannot use the same alternate email address for all of them. That is a security feature. If you are the primary account holder, then yes, you can see the other secondaries on the "My account" page, but that's not the same thing as signing into each one with the same ID.
Or are you talking about something else?

so... there is an "unofficial" way of linking more than one account to a single XfinityID for bill pay purposes. You would essentially have one "Master" account to access bill pay for multiple accounts. I think thats what they may be referring to.
@racdiego please PM me the details of this issue so i can look into it for you. its likely that the email is actually associated to another user in our system. Worst case i remove the association so you can add it to the account you want it on. Overall, it is a security policy to only being able to add a single third party email to a single XfinityID.

I am having the same issue... (needed two account e-mails for multiple buildings at the same address)... However, I am about to lose access to one e-mail account because it is associated with a business e-mail that is no longer active.

When you finally get a tech tell them you need to recover your account...feel free to describe what I had to do! I think it’s called 2 party authorization but I’m not positive!!!
Good luck!!

You need to give them cell phone and/or email, then they’ll text you or email you a code to use that will verify that is in fact you...

I had 4 separate email accounts on my old ISP provider. I just changed over to Comcast internet this week and asked if I could have 4 email accounts and he said yes. I don't want 4 users as I am the 4 users and don't have email addresses. I will take all my stuff back to xfinity if I can't have 4 email accounts.
