Third-party mail apps w/ migration
I recently was asked to migrate to the Yahoo mail service for my Xfinity email addresses. I have only migrated one account so far. I am wondering if I need to contact help on Yahoo for using Google's Gmail app to access my Xfinity email on the app, or if the current IMAP settings will work? I do not wish to download another app if it's avoidable.

Any email programs or apps that are configured to user the *comcast.net servers will need to be updated to the equivalent Yahoo servers to use them with migrated addresses. Once you've accepted the Yahoo terms and have successfully signed in to your Comcast.net email at login.yahoo.com at least once, email programs or apps should work if configured to use Yahoo's settings:
This can get messy, and it's shame that Comcast/Xfinity has not bothered to create step-by-step instructions & examples.
Note that "Help" on Yahoo is fee-based.
