third party email
I spent hours on the phone yesterday (mostly trying to get a human being on the phone) and spoke with 8 different people because they kept hanging up on me. Is that because Xfinity technical support does ot know what to do?
My outlook appls (four of them) as well as two apple mail apps on an iphone and ipad have all stopped working with xfinity email. xfinity so far has been no help at a fix. I have an open ticket as of yesterday but doubtful I will hear anything back .
There is history on this issue before so how was it fixed before and why does the xfinity technical support act as thought his is the first time this has happened/

Also see https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/third-party-email-access. The setting described there sometime becomes cleared for no apparent reason and if it isn't selected only webmail will work.
