Takes forever for the comcast email system to load.

Why is it that comcast email system takes forever to load to even get my inbox?   It always seems to take a very long time no matter what time of the day I access it.  Thankfully I only use it as a backup email system because of how slow it is.  I have accessed it on and off the comcast network and it is always "dog slow" no matter where I am trying to get to it.  Other email systems are much faster with loading and overall operation.
