Me too.  Spent an hour with Xfinity live chat and got no where.  Cannot sign in to Yahoo with Comcast credentials   Help

I can fully understand, I try to avoid live chat with a AI because they will not allow you to speak with a live agent even after responding to all their questions it was just a circle of the same questions even with different responses.  It seems to me that Xfinity has just gotten worse instead of better when it comes to getting answers.  I should have just done what I always do, just call them directly and take my chances that I will get someone that I can understand what they are saying.

Did you both accept the Terms of Service and Privacy notice?  If so, I would say that Yahoo is not yet ready for Prime Time.  I have yet to receive the email so I'm not sure what all it might have said, so I'm only guessing at this point.  If you didn't get any confirmation notice I would say try to wait it out and check through the email every couple to few days or so.

"updates.xfinity.com" is not a link, it's a partial email address.

The "From:" address for legitimate update notices will be "xfinity@updates.xfinity.com".  But remember that scammers can forge "From" addresses! Check email that claims to be from Comcast/Xfinity with their Connect webmail (https://connect.xfinity.com/) and look for the XFINITY Verified Email logo. See https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/comcast-verified-email for examples of valid logo placement. A logo in the body of the email does not count.

Unfortunately, AFAIK the logo is not present when you view one of their messages in an email app or program. It's only visible when you use their web email site, and only for email sent to a Comcast.net address.
