Switching to Yahoo email
There seems to be a lot of confusion and frustration regarding the switch from Xfinity to Yahoo email. When I searched to see if it's a requirement to switch, all of the info I read says no. When I'm on Xfinity's FAQ page, it says it's not required. What is going on?

It is not a requirement to switch, but if you don't switch you will eventually lose your @comcast.net email address.

Option 1: Accept Yahoo TOS
Option 2: Export your data
Option 3: Do nothing

I am hating this change. I have been having nothing but problems ever since I was pretty much forced to switch over to Yahoo. Messages say you’re not forced, but I could not even access my email on Comcast because the page comes up telling you to go to Yahoo. And now Google emails and Comcast emails are mixed together. I want them separate. Now I’m going to end up missing important things because I don’t know what the heck‘s going on. I pay A lot of money to Comcast and I feel insulted that I’m being forced out from my email. And yes, I feel forced, regardless of what people are saying. And it’s true because they’re saying if you don’t switch then you’re gonna lose your I’m Comcast.net email in the future. Perhaps it’s time to move to Verizon with my Internet and cable needs.
