Suspicious emails about the transition to Yahoo email.
I have just become aware of the planned transition to Yahoo. I am now getting emails say that I must login through the emails and make the changes in the next few days. These emails look suspicious, especially since I see no way to make the changes when I login to my account (and since clicking on one sent me to Korea). How can I know if these or future emails are legit?
Needless to say, Xfinity Assistant was totally useless.
Thanks,
Ken

Check email that claims to be from Comcast/Xfinity with their Connect webmail (https://connect.xfinity.com/), and look for the XFINITY Verified Email logo. Note that anyone can insert an XFINITY Verified image in the body of an email, so it's important to note not only the presence of that image, but that it is in the correct locations:
See https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/comcast-verified-email for examples of valid logo placement. A logo in the body of the email does not count.
Unfortunately, AFAIK the logo is not present when you view one of their messages in an email app or program. It's only visible when you use their web email site, and only for email sent to a Comcast.net address.
Samples of recent scammer messages can be found at https://spa.xfinity.com/alerts under "Top Phishing Scams". To report a scam email follow the instructions under the "How do I report phishing email sent to or from a Comcast.net email account?" heading on https://spa.xfinity.com/help/email-abuse?faq=spam-email.

I clicked on that link and I've never seen an "Xfinity logo" next to a subject line in my life - here's a screenshot of what that site says webmail should look like, but like I said I've never seen this ever in the 30 yrs I've had Comcast email:
I just got a phishing email about switching my accounts, which I assumed was a real Xfinity email about the switch to Yahoo, although the email didn't mention Yahoo - here's what I see in webmail - note the green checkmark next to the phishing email and no Xfinity verification logo:

The "comcast-verified-email" article you posted the image from is somewhat out of date (they're not exactly famous for keeping their support info up-to-date). Here's what the Inbox view looks like in Firefox on my Windows 11 desktop when emails from Comcast/Xfinity are present:
And this is what a "Verified" message looks like once opened:
"Xfinity Verified" only applies to emails sent by Comcast/Xfinity, and since none of the 3 messages in the second image you posted are, we don't expect them have Verified logos. The green check mark does not indicate "Verified", it was a graphic added by the scammer who sent the email to make it look safe. It actually means "Danger!".
