Stop Sending Me Spam

Last month I had to go through 3 agents PLUS Twitter to stop receiving spam from Xfinity since their online unsubscribing method DOES NOT WORK. After a few weeks of no spam, I just received spam AGAIN.

How do I unsubscirbe from their marketing emails FOR REAL? NOT through old, dead links that they tried to shove down my throat last time.

Same here. What's the deal? Xfinity should be the paragon of spam prevention, not the cause of it. EVERY single day on EVERY single Xfinity email account: the same tired emails from Xfinity (subjects: "Here's what you need to know...", and ">> Please view this information about your Xfinity features...," to name a few). See attached.

Attempted solution from support (to mark things as SPAM at https://connect.xfinity.com) did work to get rid of the spam that I ALREADY had in my inbox but did nothing for the SPAM that I continue to receive daily from Xfinity. Please provide a solution as if there is one thing that will drive me away from Xfinity it's this constant barrage of redundant and useless emails from a company that should know better.

In fairness, Support claims the emails may be coming from a third-party site, but still appears to be under the direction of Xfinity Corporate. At the bottom of each spam email is: "Comcast Cable, One Comcast Center, 1701 JFK Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19103. Attn: Email Communications." Like, are we going have to write to Corporate to stop this madness, assuming even that would work??

I have a Hispanic sounding name and keep getting Hispanic emails from the same outfit, but I can't read Spanish. I label them SPAM but they keep coming in every day, sometimes 4 and 5 a day for the past three months.  There is no way to unsubscribe from this sender. There is no way to unsubscribe from this source and there's no way to block them. Can  someone help me?

Any updates on the Xfinity spam problem?  Because this is getting really old really fast. Really no need for us to be receiving the same messages over and over, day in and day out. Thanks for your help, suggestions, remedies, fixesif any.

That was hilarious, but thank you. As you know, I way alerting you to a false positive for restricted language while attempting to post email source text requested by you. The copy-pasted text just so happened to contain a certain combination of letters, probably a substring of something else, which your system evidently considers objectionable. It is what it is and by no means was an attempt on my part to be profane. In any case, please don't let that detract from your fine work or the issue at hand. All the best,

@XXXfinite Thank you for the examples and i am aware to the context, no worries about moderation - i've caught some interesting words in headers before and caught a chuckle or two. I got the information i needed from them though and was able to identify a likely issue with our automated system sending out more volume of emails than intended. I've logged the examples and submitted a case with an engineering team working on the platform to identify the issue and implement a fix. I don't have an ETA for you, but rest assured we are looking into this issue and are working to resolve it ASAP.

@ComcastCSAEmail I'm getting the same two garbage emails daily. I also don't have my personal email associated to my account so I'm not sure why you guys are still sending all of this to me.

Yeah, same here.  Apparently "Unsubscribe All" does nothing to stop the endless deluge of junkmail from Comcast telling me about their new services.  Is there anyway to actually stop your harrassment, Comcast?

Same here, every option in settings is opt out. Still getting this garbage.

One advisor i chatted with said to forward one of the spam emails to abuse@comcast.net

I plan to continue sending something every day until it stops, might automate it too. Any employees want to help out with that?

Are you 100% sure that it's actually from Comcast?

Check the "From" field to see what it says.

Some of the spam that I get (to the inbox!) looks pretty real.

I’ve never seen such a large company struggle to implement such a simple universal feature. I opted out of everything as soon as I received the first one months ago and have been receiving this garbage for non-stop. Just double checked via the unsub link in the email and sure enough all boxes are unchecked. From [Edited: "Personal Information"]. Stop sending me this stuff and replace the engineer if they haven’t been able to get something as simple as marketing mailing lists fixed in over a year.
