Has anyone notice an increase in unwanted advertisement emails and spam in the past month? I uninstalled Norton and I am receiving upwards of 30 unwanted emails per day. Did Comcast sell our email addresses to external parties?

I have been inundated with spam for the last several months and it's getting worse. I contacted XFinity last week to complain and was assured that the agent really, really cares about me and is so sorry that this is happening and it's being escalated. I got a case # but haven't heard anything further and don't expect to. To add insult to injury, today several legitimate emails that happened to have the word "Covid" in the subject line were sent to spam. I'm thisclose to making Gmail my preferred email addy.

It is out of control. I'm getting over 60 to 80 spam emails a day. A few months ago I got almost zero, and I never changed anything in my settings. I keep looking everywhere for information or solutions without any luck. I have checked me advanced settings a million times. I cleared my inbox less than 3 hours ago and I already have 37 new spam emails in there as of this writing.
Call Comcast security and ask them to look at the account-----------------

I have also noticed an extreme increase in spam in the last month. Seems like nothing is being filtered out. I have done nothing to change settings and I am the only one who used this desktop. I get a lot of email daily as it is so I sure don't need the dozens of spam messages on top of that to deal with. They really need to look at the universal filters they have in place for all of us. I doubt this will happen but I can hope that someone is paying attention to us.
