spam: Is this email "Legit"? or Phishing...

I just received the following email, which appears to be coming from:

The Purple "Button" points to a link:

[Edited: "Invalid Link"]

This does NOT look like Xfinity to me?

I've "redacted" my email address from the extraction below.

Thanks... can someone confirm, is this legit?

It looks very suspicious!

It looks like a phishing attempt.  Comcast isn't going to ask you to verify your account in an unsolicited email.  To be sure, look for the Xfinity Verified Email logo in the message list, or in the header of the email-----------

Hi there, RoDeel! Thanks for reaching out directly when you were unsure of the email. That is the right step to take! Never click on links enclosed in the emails unless you are certain. @Latoque is correct that this would be a phishing attempt. The need to take action immediately and the direct link to update the information give me red flags.

You can report the email to our Customer Security Assurance team. They handle our internet security and work to prevent emails like that from coming through. Once you have copied the full message headers from the spam message, paste the header and the message into an email and send it to abuse@comcast.net with the subject line "Phishing email."

Our CSA team also post any known scams on our Alerts page. That shows both phone and email scams that we know about for awareness.
