Spam folder is not emptying

While reading mail, I can right-click on the Spam folder and be given a choice to empty it. This is a great way to empty the folder, and used to work fine. Now it doesn't do anything. Can we bring it back?

@Quibby I still have that option.  Try clearing your cache and deleting any cookies associated with xfinity.com .  Close your browser and start a new session.

@Again - That might or might not work, but wouldn't it be better if the website designer fixed it? The number of us who could follow your suggestion is a small fraction of the mail users, after all.

@Quibby Thanks for reaching out. Since it is working for Again still, the suggestion they provided to try clearing your cache and deleting any cookies associated with https://comca.st/3kNzAlF and then to close your browser and start a new session, is what we would recommend trying. If these steps don't work, please let me know and I'd be happy to continue to troubleshoot.

I no longer work for Comcast.

Why would xfinity/comcast write a cookie that turns off a function? And if the cookie is known, why can’t it be fixed? Doesn’t seem particularly customer-friendly, and I would rather not have to do this cookie-clearing whenever something goes awry.

OK - got it. xfinity/comcast can write a cookie that breaks a function in the email reader for xfinity/comcast, and that's just too bad for the average user who has no idea how to clear a cache or remove specific cookies. That's the difference between a provider and a user - the provider can do what they like, and the user can live with it. This is me, living with it.
