Spam filtering

I have been 'testing' to see if the SPAM filters work.  If the spam mail if it meets a particular condition. I send it to different folders.  This has yet to work!  If I set up a condition to meet any sender with onmiscrosoft or support, in the FROM, it doesn't work, or any condition does not work.  Please help.  Thank you.

Hi, there. I appreciate you reaching out to us here on our forum's page regarding your filter settings. I am here and would love to help. Are they affecting all emails or certain emails @user_314c21

interesting. I would love to troubleshoot together @user_314c21.

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further look at this issue.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://comca.st/3EqVMu7

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

See  https://comca.st/3KQF8q9r fo an example.

I no longer work for Comcast.

Good morning,

Unfortunately, the email filters do not work on emails in the spam folder. The email filters only work on emails sent to the inbox.

I am an Official Xfinity Employee.
Official Employees are from multiple teams within Xfinity: CARE, Product, Leadership.
We ask that you post publicly so people with similar questions may benefit from the conversation.

@XfinityCSAEmail   It is my understanding that the Filter Rules in the Settings section, is for you to filter incoming email.  Do SPAM emails get redirected to spam folder before it goes to the inbox?
