Spam filtering stoppped working. Help!

I noticed several weeks ago that spam was starting to show up in my in box.  Maybe two or three a day.  Now it is more like seven to ten a day. I've checked and the spam filter is turned on.

 

Is there some other setting I should try? 

 

Or is it possible for the Xfinity engineers to check their code to make sure it is working properly?

 

I ask this second question because a year ago my hotmail spam filter stopped working and Microsoft said it was an issue on their side.  Took some time but they got it fixed.

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated!
