spam filter
The spam filter seems to be getting worse. More spam gets through than ever before, even though as a human it takes me about a half second to tell it's spam, and a few of my real emails get sent to spam. I have Gmail and Yahoo mail and I never have these problems. Is Comcast doing anything to improve its spam filtering?

@user_a207c1 Thanks for your feedback about the Spam filtering. We are constantly working to make improvements, and you can check out what we're doing about spam here. We also have some tools in your email, like setting up safe senders and rules, which may help filter out more spam in your emails. We have steps on how to complete them here.

I absolutely agree. I have multiple spam emails every day now. This started getting worse just in the last month or so. I would hope Comcast/Xfinity would do something to address the problem. I am forwarding lots of the emails to [Edited: "Personal Information"] in the hope that the more they get, the more apt they might be to do something about it.

The system really needs to default to assuming it's spam unless. I'd rather tell it what is not spam, preemptively, than what is spam, after being subjected to it.

I don't understand how such a major ISP can have such a garbage spam filter. I visit my parents every few months and i try to clean up their inbox and see countless fake amazon emails that are painfully obvious spam based on the sender alone. They are good about ignoring them but its pathetic on Xfinity's part. I am in the process of convincing them to migrate to gmail but with older folks is a harder sell. When I have more time next visit I will sit for a day and move everything over for them unless they fix it by then. It's unacceptable.
