SPAM filter is terrible

I constantly receive SPAM in my In Box.  Why is Xfinity's spam filter so bad?  I don't have the same issue with Yahoo.  For example, I've been getting 5 to 10 emails, all at the same time with the same subject, all from different email addresses.  They are obviously SPAM.  I get tired of having to create my own filters to pick up what Xfinity misses.  Can't their algorithm be improved?

user_46w53v I saw that you mentioned not wanting to have to adjust filters or settings, but the best option would be if the built-in filtering is set to "Automatically move spam. This way it would move those messages without having to ever see them reach the primary inbox. 

 

Click the Automatically move spam and potentially harmful messages to the Spam folder option.

Note: Enabling Spam filtering will move emails designated as spam to the Spam folder and delete them automatically after seven days.

More examples of rudimentary CSR activity, copy paste regurgitated prewritten responses.  Mr Thomas B, may I please ask what country you're located in?  The xfinity service is so bad, and has been for so long, it's simply comical.  Didn't xfinity get rid of the enable spam filtering option in your second image in favor of the one in the first image?  You may want to update your generic response template.  I've had four more spam emails hit my inbox and two more automatically go to spam box, in the brief time I've been here on this thread.  I searched through other settings and see a lot updated woke content, but nothing new or helpful.  The problem is not user error or how to manage the most rudimentary options possible which are designed for elderly people to understand.  The problem is on the Xfinity management IT side, exactly as the poster stated;  fix the algorithms.  CSR employee monitoring these forums, you've done a great job and we'll take it from here.  Take the rest of the day off.

I am sick of this spam issue as well. I have tried multiple types of variations on the subject, from, etc to no avail.  Someone help !!!

There will be no help.  CSR's are now threatening me with a forum ban for simply linking detailed commentary on the matter, distributed through several threads.  And they've removed several long detailed posts with image snips clearly showing what's happening.  Use the image snip tool to post an image what's happening.

I already have my settings to automatically move spam - it doesn't work!

@XfinityThomasB​ I already have that enabled and there are many, many emails still coming through that are obviously spam.  See the snippet from just an hour or two today - it's ridiculous!
