Spam email protection not working well

I keep getting spam emails even after defining them as spam.

As an example I keep getting emails from linkedin about job offers or comments posted by various people. I mark them as spam and they automatically get moved to the spam folder, but next day some similar emails show up in my inbox.

It's like I reached the max capacity of the spam list.
