SMTP Server Issue - can receive but not send email
I'm OK using the Xfinity app on my computer and phone. However, since this morning's service interruption, I can't get Outlook 2016, 2019 nor BlueMail for Android to accept my credentials. They work for receiving mail on port 993 (IMAP) but not for sending using port 465 or 587. Yes, my settings allow 3rd party access (rechecked this) which I have been using with no problems, until today! IMAP server works but SMTP fails. Changes password twice and wasted hours on this. Please advise.

Problem just resolved itself. Too bad Comcast's first reaction was to be IN DENIAL. The problem wasn't with my settings, but with Comcast's SMTP server. Working again now.
