Settings update email

Hi, I got an email saying I needed to update my settings on my email, but I don't use Outlook or any of the others listed. There is a different port listed in the settings on my synced email on my phone. Should I change that to one of the setting recommended in the email? if so, which one should I use? I heard that this is not a legitimate email, but is a scam. Is it real? Thanks for any help you can give me.
