Sent email from internet from home pc

When I send an email to someone, where would I look for the reply to that email? In my sent email folder there is no indication that a reply has been received. My G mail sent folder clearly indicates when a reply has been received. I have to do a search in my inbox for my Xfinity emails for the recipient's email address to see if a reply has been received. This has caused me to miss important emails and delayed my response to these replies for days as there was no indication they were received. I have looked in the settings to see if I could change a setting to make this visible, but I don't see anything. Any help would be appreciated.;

If you send someone an email and they reply to it, the reply should show up in your Inbox, not in your Sent folder.
