Secondary email password failure

On my secondary email password fails. 

It tells me to see primary user to call xfinity for a password reset.

If the self services options are not working for you to reset your password, then to get help with resetting your passwords, please call our phone support at 1-800-Xfinity (1-800-934-6489) or 1-800-266-2278.

I'm currently livid! I can not get into 4 email accounts and I found info in this forum how to fix it. NOT! I followed the directions and not one of the email accounts show up as secondary users. I called and can not get to a human!!!!

We are the right place to go for help. We will certainly do everything within our power to get this fixed. Are the 4 emails secondary Comcast email accounts? If so, you have tried resetting the passwords to those secondary Comcast emails/ IDs? You can reset them by visiting xfinity.com/password. If you know your password and just want to update it, you can do so via the XFINITY app or on our website.

I am in the same boat. Recently I got a notification that I must change my password. We are no longer a Xfinity customer but still use our Comcast email including a secondary email. The password change required cannot be done on the secondary account because no changes are allowed on those. .so this password change.mandate effectively shuts down all secondary accounts without warning or recourse. I do not imagine this was.intentional but  I see no way out of this. I. Would argue that the discontinued  account email FAQ constitutes a promise which is violated by this mandated password change which is impossible to perform.  Any comments from Xfinity on this?

You need to call:

Customer Security Assurance
Business Hours: 8:00am - 12:00am EST, 7 days a week  
Contact: 1-888-565-4329 

They can help you, but be mindful that hold times might be long.  Good luck!
