secondary email address doesn't show up in Primary account and identity

I have an old comcast secondary email address, being using it for > 10 years. Suddenly this week it isn't working, cannot connect to it. I cannot change the password because it doesn't show up in the Account and Identity page of my Primary user (which is me). Years ago it used to show up but when comcast changed to Xfinity it disappeared, but I didn't bother about it at that time because I could still use it. Now just this week I cannot access it. And I cannot talk to a live agent; the Virtual Assistant is useless as I just keep going round and round always back to the same irrelevant page. Seems like this problem is not something the virtual assistant can help with.

Hello, @user_t8u1rl

Sorry for the inconvenience. Is this from an active Comcast account? Former Xfinity customers can still use their Xfinity Email address if they have logged into their account using the Xfinity Email website within 90 days prior to downgrading or disconnecting service. When was the last time you accessed that email account?

Yes, it is an active Comcast account, Comcast supplies my internet. I have had Comcast/Xfinity for more than 15 years. I have two other secondary emails that show up under the Primary account's Account and Identify page but the one I'm having a problem with does not. Way back before Comcast became XFinity I could manage it via the Primary account; but at some point it disappeared, but I didn't bother to do anything because I could still use it for email, it was my "go to" email address because I got very little spam on it compared to the Primary. But as of Monday 20th April 2025 I can access it; Apple mail says it needs the password but entering it makes no difference. I cannot access Comcast webmail because it says the password needs to be reset but when I go through the webpage it says to contact online support; but that just leaves me back to the "reset password" page. The web page also says that through online support I can get a live agent but every time I ask the "machine" for a live agent it just takes me back to the "reset password" page.

Thank you very much for the clarification @user_t8u1rl. If you are getting that password reset error message the best option to get that resolved would be through the customer security team at the https://spa.xfinity.com/ site. They also have a direct number you can contact through that link as well.

Thanks. That is pretty much what I did. I eventually got to a human via the virtual assistant chat and they got me to the security team who were able to fix the problem. Everything seems to be resolved now.
