Secondary Account needs to be upgraded to separate Primary Account

My parents created this email address for me when I was a kid. Now I have moved into an apartment and need to have wifi installed, but I cannot do this as a secondary account. My parents cannot upgrade my account to primary status, because they have since switched to Fios and Comcast removed almost all their ability to edit account details. I cannot create a new primary account because both my phone number and social security number are linked to my current secondary account. I do not want to delete this account to create a new one because this is my primary email address and I have signed up for many services with it, and do not want to change the email associated with all of them. If I could have my email address removed from my parent's accounts completely, while retaining my current email address, all my problems would be solved.

There is no way for you to do what you are describing yourself.  But I think it can be done.  I am going to escalate this to the forum admins.  You should see a response here in this thread from an employee.  In cases like yours, they may tell you you have to go to a service center.

@Lividtaffy how long ago did your parents leave Comcast for FIOS?  That may have a bearing on if you can get your email address moved, but also, maybe not.  Customers can keep their email address even after leaving, but technically now your email address isn't associated with your parents account.  CSA should be able to fix this for you, I should think.
