Scams
I keep getting emails saying my email service is going to be interrupted unless you click the link below to accept the new terms. The sender address is a gobble-d-gook account. The link asks you to enter your username and password. How will I be able to recognize the real notification to accept the yahoo terms of service?

If you use webmail, an official email from Comcast/Xfinity will have the verified logo before the email.

The real thing will look something like the page at https://xfinityconnect.email.comcast.net/emailMigration.

Hello and thank you for reaching out via out Xfinity Community Forums. In addtion to what @Again stated,
you’re right to be cautious. Messages with strange sender addresses, urgent warnings about service interruption, and links asking for your username and password are strong signs of a scam. A legitimate email will never ask you to enter your password through a link. The safest thing to do is not click anything in that message. If there really is an update to your account or terms, you’ll see it when you sign in directly on the official site or app.
