Also: If you view any message claiming to be from Comcast/Xfinity in Webmail ("https://connect.xfinity.com/"), it should have the Xfinity Verified Email logo -- see https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/comcast-verified-email.

If you are using a computer browser, you can often hover the mouse over the link to see where it is pointing. That said, I give it 99.9999999999% that it is a scam.

This is the icon you should see when opening your email that determines whether or not the email is legimately from Xfinity.

I thought it was odd because I could view a bunch of email addresses. I responded and told the person it was unacceptable to show the names and also after realizing it could have been a scam, I forwarded to Comcast (never heard back). I didn't click on any link just responded with email I rec'd.
I think this is related to my recently emails rec'd about knowing my password. Rec'd one on 4/23 and another 4/27. Send info to FTC and tried Comcast but to no avail.

You should never reply to scam/suspicous emails. All it does is tell the person your address is accurate and checked by a real person.

I usually can tell when it is a scam but some are so authentic it is hard to distinguish. I will check the sender's email and see if anything isn't up to par. When someone has your password in the subject line you sort of wonder what's going on and luckily I didn't respond but did open the first e-mail but not the second. Thank you for responding.
