Scam Mail from Xmail or legit?
I just got an email claiming to be from Xfinity (X MAIL) telling me to validate my account by Feb 25 or I will no longer be able to access my email account. After I clicked on the link and put in my password it occurred to me this might be a scam. Was it?
Just to play it safe I immediately changed my password to a new one. Would appreciate help with this. Thanks

It was definitely a scam email and it's a good thing you changed your password.
Any official email from Xfinity, when seen in webmail, will have the official logo next to the email. Anything else regarding your email is most likely a scam or phishing.

I got the same email, but did not click on link. Called Comcast, number found in internet search. Got someone who had foreign accent and who told me it was legit. Comcast is moving its email accts to Yahoo. Something seemed like it might be wrong. However after searching the internet it seems like Comcast is moving emails over, although they warn about scams around this. Now I get popups on my iPad about IMAP wanting a password. And I no longer get emails on my Mac, but still get them on my iPad or at xfinity website. Very weird
