"save as file" does not work

Xfinity notified me that email storage is 98% full. I have downloaded a large number of emails directly from "connect.xfinity.com" to my computer, then I deleted them off Xfinity.  At their site, the option for "save as file" worked initially, but no longer does and I can no longer download emails in bulk other than 3-4 at a time.  Have attempted a large number of troubleshooting steps, including a 2 hour phone call with Xfinity.  In the end, I was informed that their email team and agent I was talking to could not help me.  The message came across as tough luck but keep paying us money for poor service!

If xfinity limits the amount of data in email, it should provide a way to download emails.  While I am a "Diamond" customer, whatever that means, I am considering dropping xfinity altogether for other options for an ISP.

FWIW, the Save as file is not working for me at all, for even two emails.  Given the migration to Yahoo! Mail, this may be something that has been disabled.  Have you considered using a third party email client to download your email to, such as Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple/Mac Mail, etc.?
