Samsung phone apps (samsung email/outlook) will not log into comcast email.

samsung email app has not been syncing for the past couple days and same thing on my outlook app.  I tried to re log in through both app settings and it will not connect to server. I cleared the cache, manually put in the incoming and outgoing server settings, updated apps, removed apps and reinstalled, checked to make sure third party apps was selected in xfinity profile. I am able to access email through outlook on laptop. Which is making me believe this is an xfinity issue. Anyone have a solution?

Found the fix for this issue. I had to set up server settings manually as I did before through Samsung email, but at the bottom where it says "Require Authentication to send emails" needs to be off. It logged in and started to sync, then it automatically turned it back on but is still working. Hope this helps someone. 

Server Settings-

Incoming Server

IMAP server ( imap.comcast.net)

Security Type (SSL)

Port (993)

Outgoing Server

SMTP server (smtp.comcast.net)

Security Type (SSL)

Port (465)

Require authentication to send emails (turn off) After logged in and synced, go to settings and you can turn this back on, the app automatically did on mine.
