Samsung Galaxy Email "not authenticated" issue and work-around
For several months, I could not send emails consistently via my Samsung native email app. The messages were stuck in the Outbox. I removed and added back my account and used the recommended server settings with no success. I downloaded multiple email apps which worked at first then gave the same "server cannot be authenticated" error. After wasting MANY hours on this, I realized I can access my email through my mobile Chrome browser. From that website, I chose from the menu "Add to Home screen". I now access my mail via the web by tapping that link rather than through an app. Problem finally solved!
