Receiving emails saying they are from comcast

I have been receiving emails that say Home, Comcast home, and verious ways of saying it. They want my information and saying that they are holding 6 messenges until I provide. I know they are scams. At one time I have a email address for the department that handled these sort of things. I can't get threw to a real person to ask what to do. Any suggestions please would be greatly appreciated. Oh I know they are not from the because the return address is a Thanks, Nessa4

If  an employee doesn't reply to your message here, Comcast Security Assurance might be able to help. You can reach them at 1-888-565-4329 (from Note that this is NOT one of the general customer service numbers.

The first-line reps there are sometimes not very helpful, so you may need to be persistent and keep at them until you get a satisfactory answer.


If can you check your email with Comcast's Xfinity Connect webmail, look for the XFINITY Verified Email logo next to any message that claims to be from Comcast/Xfinity (see If the logo is missing when you view the message in webmail, the message is not from Comcast. Unfortunately, AFAIK the logo is not present when you view one of their messages in an email app or program, not in even Comcast's own email app. It's only visible when you use their web email site.

To report a scam email to Comcast, follow the "Report Spam and Phishing Emails" link on and scroll down to the "Report Phishing Emails" section.
