Question about Comcast email conversion to yahoo - do we lose comcast outlook on desktop?

Do we lose the ability to use a desktop's outlook app to access comcast email after a Yahoo conversion?

If not, does anyone know the steps to restore comcast outlook email functionality?

That should help you set up Outlook for fetching your @comcast.net email.

I have been with Comcast for 12 years and have never used their email once.
