Problems with Comcast email server connection using POP3 or IMAP
I have three different email addresses on comcast.net and use emClient (POP3) from my PC to access that email. On just one of the addresses, I discovered I couldn't send emails. I changed my password and can access the email on xfinity.com. I deleted the account from emClient and then tried to set up a new account using POP3 or using IMAP, with the settings recommended by Comcast. Each time, I got errors like "Authentication failed" or "1002" or "Less Secure Auth Disabled." I also tried setting up an account using Outlook 365 on my PC and Outlook on my android phone and had no success with either one.
I can't fathom why one email account won't work while two others do and would appreciate any suggestions for how to fix this.
