Problem with email & IMAP password

I have two email accounts setup on my iphone and for years I've never had any problems, but within the last several months I keep getting a message that my password is incorrect and that I need to enter the password for the IMAP account.  even after I enter the correct passwords for both accounts, the error message keeps popping up and it's getting extremely annoying.  It appears that my emails are still coming in/out, but hard to tell.

When you get this message, it means that the email password was change on our website and needs to be updated. Have you visited our link to Set up your Xfinity Email address with an email program? it has a lot of good information about changing the IMAP settings.

I’ve reset all off the email passwords multiple times and still get the error message. Mail appears to still be delivered and sent, yet the message keeps popping up.

Hmm, that is certainly strange @Smunoz! I know that must be frustrating, and I know my emails are important. Have you tried to delete the emails from the mail app, and add them back? Did you confirm that the 3rd party app is checked within the email settings?
