Pinned post?

I noticed that the "It's official, we don't have to upgrade" post from Jan 16 was taken down.  This was written because of a

response by Xfinity Seth (also on the 16th) and others who said we don't have to upgrade and we won't lose our Comcast address.

Then there is this from the Xfinity FAQ :

Do I have to upgrade my comcast.net email account to Yahoo Mail?
No, this is an upgrade we are offering customers at no cost so they can access their email on a better platform with enhanced security, more features, and a mobile app for easy access on the go.

Has anything changed in the last 2 days? If not, I believe a great many customers still think it is mandatory (in the sense that you will lose your email address if you don't) and should know

of this.  A pinned post would be helpful....Thank you.

Greetings, tbill1! We appreciate you posting on our XFINITY Community forum regarding our Yahoo email migration. That is correct. It is not mandatory, however for any users who do agree to the terms then there only access will be through Yahoo mail afterward.
If you do not wish to upgrade your email experience, then you will be more than welcome to still use your email as before. We will certainly forward your feedback! In the meantime, for more information you can always visit XFINITY Email Migration here for frequently asked questions.

Yes, archive.org shows that the sentence "However, if you do not upgrade, eventually you will lose access to your comcast.net email account" was still in the Xfinity FAQ in December, but it is not there today.

Then again, 11 hours ago, XfinityAbby posted: "You will get a notice to your email when you need to opt in to switch over to Yahoo if you would like to keep your email address. "

Confusing.
