If you're accessing our email via our webmail client, there will usually be a red "Xf" icon before the subject line of the email to assure you that it is a communication from us. You can also review the detailed email headers to confirm what the source of the email is (will point to Comcast if its from us). Additionally, you can report the email if it is suspicious to abuse@comcast.net. or call at 1-888-565-4329.
I've been getting a few phishes every day purporting to be from Xfinity or Comcast. I never, everclick on the link in those e-mails.
The little icon xf doesn't show in my e-mail client, but it's good to know it's there. If I want to see if there's really a problem with my account, I log into browser e-mail client directly.
I'm not sure why Xfinity/Comcast is such a target for phishing; possibly my comcast e-mail got distributed further throughout the dark web. I just forward to abuse@comcast.net. If it's system-wide, I hope Comcast soon figures out how to block these as spam. However, I've also been getting phishes from "Amazon" and "Netflix." - maybe a bunch of people staying home are deciding to try phishing to make money.

You should see the Xfinity verified logo next to the email.
