Password for IMAP

I keep getting a message that says

Password incorrect

enter password for IMAP account Comcast.  How do I fix this?

You would need to do that in the settings for whatever email client you are using to access the email.  Like Thunderbird, Outlook, Apple Mail or something similar?  Or with the email app on a phone?

I am having this issue with Apple mail on iPad. Third party setting is yes. Email has been deleted and reinstalled. Any other suggestions?

Have you transitioned the account over to Yahoo yet?  Or are you still using the Comcast email UI?  If you moved it to Yahoo, you have to use their server setting and not the ones for Comcast.  If you are still with the Comcast email, did you let Mac Mail auto-configure the account, or did you do it manually?
