Outlook is receiving error (0x800CCC0E) Cannot connect to the server. Outlook then requests password over and over...
Outlook 2024, 2021, and (Android App version) Outlook are receiving error (0x800CCC0E) Cannot connect to the server. Outlook requests the email account password over and over, as the Xfinity email server will will not accept the correct and current password. I can login into the Xfinity Webmail , with the same password, but local email Apps Outlook 2021 and 2024, on my phone, laptop or desktop PC receive the same error and password request due to the failed handshake with the Xfinity email server. I had this same issue about two weeks ago and changed my password, which did not fix the Outlook issue and then about 72 hours later the issue was gone (magic? as nothing was changed for 72 hours on my systems...but then it started working). Third party access is enabled on email. Is this related to the Yahoo email upgrade? I have not received any notice that my my account is ready to be moved, but I currently do not have Xfinity service as the new area I moved to is still in the process of getting Xfinity installed over the many next months.
