Outlook failing to connect...

I am unable to retrieve my email into Outlook (Office 365), however I am able to access my email via the Xfinity site.  I do not have anything preventing connection to your imap or smtp servers (see included details, I can hit your advertised ports).  I also have checked the "Third Party Access Security" option under Settings > Security so that is not the issue either.  Please clarify what my Outlook settings should be in order to use Outlook to manage my Xfinity email.

scott.j1 Are you running into the same issue? I see Orlando already reached out to the OP.

Hello @XfinityAmandaB, I hadn't realized I had switched accounts, but I am also the OP.  However @XfinityOrlandoM's response was neither helpful nor relevant in any way, as would have been evident had my original posting actually been read.  I was quite clear that I have already enabled the "Third Party Access Security" option.

What I need are the exact settings I should have my Microsoft® Outlook® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2409 Build 16.0.18025.20030) 64-bit set to in order to access my email in Outlook.  It is not a password issue, as I can login via the website using MFA so I clearly remember my password, but Outlook fails.  As you can also see from my original post there is nothing blocking my ability to reach imap.comcast.net or smtp.comcast.net, and also nothing blocking the ports you have advertised on your configuration documentation.  So not a firewall or accessibility issue.

I would absolutely appreciate a response that educates me on the explicit configuration I should be using for "Microsoft® Outlook® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2409 Build 16.0.18025.20030) 64-bit" (endpoints, ports, type of encrypted connection, SPA required, etc.).  That additionally educates me on if there are any other Xfinity account settings I need to modify, such as disabling MFA.

Despite the recommendation being to use your web application to access email, that is actually a poor recommendation.  It is extremely inconvenient to use your web application even for a single account, and as I have multiple Xfinity email accounts and do not enjoy constantly swapping between my accounts, I need to use a 3rd party application that can manage multiple mailboxes.  I have done so in Outlook for years, conveniently able to have all of my Xfinity emails in one interface, and ever since Xfinity forced me to login and attach an alternate email and my phone number to these accounts I am no longer able to do so.

Thank you for your patience @scott.j1! The exact settings for outlook can be found here.

If the steps listed in that link do not resolve this issue, the next step would be resetting the password to your Xfinity email following the steps in this link.

After changing the password, please log out/remove the email from outlook and then retry the steps in this link.
