Outgoing email doesn’t get sent in Wi-Fi

This is the strangest thing! I cannot send out Comcast emails on my home Wi-Fi (Verizon FIOS). They are just sitting in the Outbox. As soon as I switch off Wi-Fi to the AT&T cellular network, the email gets sent out. I do receive them on Wi-Fi, but they are not being sent out. Another strange thing is it doesn't happen in someone else’s house when I am on their Wi-Fi. What can be wrong? I appreciate any advice anyone can give me. Thank you in advance!

asis15 Thanks for reaching out! What type of device, and email platform are you using to send your Comcast.net emails? Have you tried using the webportal  (https://connect.xfinity.com/appsuite/) to send emails while connected to your in-home WiFi?

Every time I sent an email from my Comcast account from my iPhone, it sits in the outbox when I’m on my home Wi-Fi. But as soon as I switch to my cellular AT&T network the email gets sent out immediately. It is only on my home Wi-Fi that this happens when the email just sits in the outbox and doesn’t go anywhere. What is more stranger is when I am in somebody else’s house on their Wi-Fi it does work, the email goes out. If anyone can shed some light on this, please advise thank you very much in advance!

asis15 Thanks for reaching out! You may want to verify your email settings for the Comcast.net account on your iPhone, or remove the email, and try setting it up again. Here is a great article that helps guide you through setting up Comcast.net email on a third party device, or application.

I have this problem as well. I would love a resolution for this. Many of my recipients say that my email winds up in their spam folders.

Mainly I am authoring a post to get access to DMs, so I can speak to one of the support staff here! :)
