On Xfinity Connect, are there ways to 1) delete attachments on saved emails; and 2) instruct Xfinity not to download large emails?

1) On saved emails: Is there any way on Xfinity Connect to delete attachments from saved emails without deleting the whole email (that is, while saving the message itself)? Some emails apps (including Outlook) permit this, but don't know how to do it on Xfinity Connect.

2) On incoming emails: Some apps (including Mozilla Thunderbird) have an adjustable setting that allows you to say, "Do not download emails larger than kb." If you set x at, say, 100kb, all but the longest text-only emails come through, but you have to manually download big attachments, which aren't saved online. That really saves on storage space without requiring the deletion of the email itself.

Both of these questions stem from the fact that my 10gb Xfinity Connect storage is nearly maxed out. Thanks for your help.

There is no way to remove the attachments I know of.  The max size for incoming or outgoing emails is 25Mb, which includes the headers and any attachments.  There is no way to adjust that.

Thanks so much for the link, which I appreciate. I'd found that answer earlier and have been doing exactly what it suggests. The problem is that because the email is forwarded to myself by myself, it's no longer possible to search it by the original sender (or, of course, by the original date range if it's an older email). Better than nothing, but I was hoping there was another way.
