Old data-deleted & locked account preventing new account & services
I previously cancelled my account 12/20 and requested data deletion 12/28
Tried creating new account yesterday 01/13 using same name & address but different email & phone number which immediately malfunctioned when I tried to order new services. I requested data deletion for the new account this morning.
Online search suggests the problem was identity verification and the system malfunction because the previous account is permanently locked and won't allow new user or services.
I sent an email to Comcast_Privacy@comcast.com using info for both accounts plus the data deletion request number using the email for the 2nd account with a request to cancel the deletion.
Any further suggestions? Online search suggests I simply needed to contact identity verification helpline to sort this out but the data deletion is likely to complicate matters

Typically you can't sign up using your name and address for 90 days after closing an account. This is to prevent people from canceling their account and starting a new one in order to get new customer pricing.
